INSPIRED subcontracted from AFC to team lead the BMZ funded Agricultural Finance Project that identified key banking partners; developed products and trained those partners; and delivered innovative finance for cassava, maize, rice, and potato value chains. INSPIRED’s approach included both Islamic and traditional financial products for inputs, assets and working capital.

Organizational Development

Multiyear effort to leading the development of a large NGO’s Strategic Framework, training 13 African countries’ staff in researching and prioritizing investments and authoring County Entry Strategies for seven countries

INSPIRED facilitated Heifer International’s Senior Management Team and Board to develop a five-year Strategic Framework. INSPIRED also trained all of Heifer’s Africa Staff in country level strategy development while directly supporting the development of Country Strategies in Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, Uganda and Zambia.
